Chocolate Pear Tart

Ingredients (for a 10″ pie mold)
preprepared dough (see “multipurpose dough” recipe)
5-6 pears, peeled and sliced
100 g dark chocolate
1 cup sugar
2 dl cream (35%)
4 egg yolks
vanilla extract

1. Melt the chocolate in a saucepan. Pour over the dough.
2. Spread the thinly sliced pears over the dough and chocolate.
3. Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes. In the meantime, beat egg yolks, sugar, cream, and vanilla in a bowl.
4. Pour the egg mixture onto the pears and bake for another 30 minutes.

NOTE: Let cool for at least an hour for the chocolate to harden.
